Born in Seoul in 1960, Choi Young-ju studied visual communication design (BFA) at Hongik University and book arts (MFA) at the Camberwell College of Arts in London, United Kingdom. The Tate Gallery houses five of her works including this volume. Currently, she teaches at various universities in Seoul and illustrates children’s books.
