After graduating from the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (BA), Nam Taehyun received a master’s degree from the AmericanUniversity and a doctoral degree from the University of Kansas, respectively. He currently works as a professor of political science atSalisbury University near Washington, DC. He has conducted research mainly on demonstrations and oppression, which were the topics ofhis doctoral dissertation. His works include A Society of Classes Based on English Proficiency (in Korean) and Why Does Politics Betray Us?(in Korean; published by Changbi).
