Lee Sung Pyo

Lee Sung Pyo was born in 1958 in Yong’in, Gyeonggi Province and grew up in Seoul. Since graduation from the Department of Communication Design (BFA) at Hongik University, he has been active as an illustrator, educator, and picture book author. He creates drawings that combine earnest contemplation and playfulness. Lee has illustrated works including Look, It’s Raining, I Like Stars, Tiger, To You, My Beloved People, A Life, and A Boy. He received the Korea Publication Culture grand prize in 2005.
